NASA hides that the Earth is flat
Earth's spherical shape has been independently confirmed by multiple space agencies, private companies, amateur astronomers, aircraft navigation systems, GPS mathematics, and observations available to anyone. A conspiracy to hide a flat Earth would require the participation of every physics, meteorology, and navigation institution on Earth.
What we know
The spherical Earth has been understood for over 2,000 years. Ancient Greeks including Eratosthenes (276-194 BC) calculated Earth's circumference to within a few percent of the modern value using shadow measurements in two cities. Medieval scholars universally accepted a spherical Earth; the Columbus-era dispute was about Earth's size, not shape. Modern evidence is overwhelming and comes from entirely independent sources.
Photographic evidence includes thousands of Earth images from multiple independent space agencies (NASA, ESA, JAXA, ISRO, CNSA), private companies (SpaceX, Planet Labs), and amateur astronomers with high-altitude balloons. GPS satellite positioning systems require spherical Earth mathematics to function; flat-earth mathematics produce meters-off errors. International flights follow great circle routes that make no sense on a flat map but match globe predictions exactly. Circumnavigation of Earth has been accomplished by sea, air, and overland independently thousands of times.
The claim that NASA is hiding a flat Earth requires the simultaneous participation of every aviation authority (pilot navigation training and instrument calibration require spherical Earth), every meteorological agency, every telecommunications satellite operator, every navigation app developer, every physics department in every university, and the militaries of every nation. The 2018 Flat Earth Society-funded gyroscope experiment, intended to prove Earth's non-rotation, instead measured Earth's 15-degree-per-hour rotation, confirming the globe model. Science denial classified the flat Earth belief as such in philosophical and physical science literature.
Common claims
- NASA fakes photos of a spherical Earth and hides flat Earth evidenceFalse. Earth images come from multiple independent space agencies and private companies; consistent deception at that scale is not credible.
- You cannot see Earth's curvature, proving it is flatFalse. Earth's curvature is visible from high-altitude balloons, commercial aircraft, and in the curvature of Earth's shadow on the Moon during lunar eclipses.
- Flat earthers' own experiments confirm flatnessFalse. The Flat Earth Society's 2018 gyroscope experiment inadvertently measured Earth's rotation, confirming the globe model.
